Austrian Airlines resumed its Vienna-Kathmandu service on 15 September after its four month off-season break. The airline has switched to Boeing 767s from Airbus 340s and aims to take advantage of the autumn hike in tourist arrivals. Austrian operates the flight once a week except for October and November, when it offers two flights weekly.
