While I appreciated the candid responses by Gen Prajwalla SJB Rana in the interview (This is not a Royal Army, but the Royal Nepalese Army, #73), I wish Vijay Kumar had asked other pertinent questions like the lack of transparency within the military.

The army must change with the times, reform its old ways, and not just stick to its old boy traditions. We should also look at whether we can afford such an expensive institution, and whether it can do more for development.
