I enjoyed Binod Bhattarai's "Can Nepal do IT?" (#79) and commend his optimism on Nepal's IT future. Yes, definitely, Nepalis are as capable as anyone else in the world. But if we can't even develop and implement a successful programme to grow potatoes, it is hard to believe we will be successful in IT. With a government that does not reward honesty, hard work, intelligence, integrity, or competitiveness we cannot do it. There is absolute correlation between these attributes and success. The opposite is valid too-just look at our government.
