A beaming Sukmit Gurung walks offstage to a rousing ovation after her performance to a packed Basantapur Square on International Women\'s Day on Saturday during the closing concert of the Sundara Shanta Nepal peace tour.

The stage, back-lit as the setting sun silohouettes the temples at Hanuman Dhoka. The concert performed in Dharan, Hetauda, Butwal, Mahendranagar, Dang where a total of nearly 300,000 Nepalis came to listen and
dance to the singers. The highest turnouts were in Kathmandu and Dang.

The concert tour was organised by Himal Association and managed by Event Nepalaya.
