Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) celebrated its tenth anniversary on 24 November. Launched in 1994 as a joint venture of Punjab National Bank, it has 15 branches in Nepal and is the only Nepali bank to have a Representative Office outside Nepal in New Delhi. EBL is considered a pioneer in retail lending having introduced various customer friendly products such as Home Loan, Education Loan, Flexi Loan etc. At the celebrations, DVSSV Prasad took over as new executive director of the bank to replace SS Dabas.
