What a joy to read real news on your online edition. To keep in some small way in touch with Nepal and the Nepali people who were so generous and kind to us when we travelled there long ago. Your determined and spirit-filled people are under some duress at this time. You remain in our most fervent prayers

Finally we have a newspaper with an eye of its own. The different approach you guys have adopted is something that has to be admired, Hope you will be bolder and challenge issues that are only covered superficially elsewhere. An essence of good reporting is asking "why" to the answer of "what". Keep it up.

I started reading the online issues of Nepali Times at the behest of a friend. We read with interest the article on Nepal-India relations by Rajendra Dahal (#4). I must commend him for his writing style, an unstilted language and substance.
Many stories I read in newspapers are, unfortunately, tasteless and superficial. I hope Nepali Times will invest in bright, upcoming journalists and begin an exemplary tradition. I also hope that you will venture out of Kathmandu valley and include stories on less accessible places. We really need a new, fresh perspective. Mohan Chand

Here in the United States, reading Nepali Times on my computer is a treat. Kunda Dixit\'s columns are superb, and I hope to read more of his intelligent humour.
