Bhaktapur\'s District Police Office is getting ready to register a case against the underground Maoist leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai for planting a bomb in an attempt to blow up Bhaktapur\'s District Land Revenue Office on 17 June. The bomb was recovered at 9:30 in the morning the same day on the fourth floor of the office building and was defused with the help of the police.

According to sources, the police intend to charge Dr Bhattarai and his associates with attempted murder\' at the Bhaktapur District Court.
