Deputy Prime Minister, Amik Sherchan said that the summit talks between the seven party alliance and the Maoists would be held during the last week of August.
Speaking reporters at an inaugural function of fifth general convention of the Nepal Drug Distributors' Association Saturday, Sherchan said that the next round of summit talks will focus on the confusions regarding interim parliament and the management of the Nepal Army.
Sherchan added that he was satisfied with the five-point weapons supervision pact between the government and the Maoists and assured that he does not have plans to resign any time soon. Last week, at a meeting of the Council of Ministers, Shrechan who is also the head of People's Front Nepal said he was not satisfied with the government's performance and warned that he will step down if it did not make political decisions soon.
