The Communist Party of Nepal Maoists have taken back their blockade announced earlier. In a statement released today chairman Prachanda said, We have taken back our prior announced blockade until the first meeting of the House of Parliament at the request of Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala who has promised to take a positive decision towards going for a constituent assembly so that it is easier for people to amass. Before this the Maoists had said that the proclamation of the reinstatement of the House was a conspiracy and that blockade would go on.
