A group of musiciaCalled the Barrel of the Gun, this non-competitive section of FSA includes films from throughout the world, from Colombia to Cambodia, Rwanda to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Peru to Nepal. They tackle a variety of themes-a former UN commander coming to terms with the massacre that he could not prevent, the pursuit of justice against perpetrators of war crimes and internally displaced people trying to find their bearings. In view of the ongoing conflicts in Nepal and other parts of South Asia the festival's organisers feel the documentaries from abroad will provide many lessons for this region.
