I can totally relate to Kapil Tamot's wedding woes ('Pre-monsoon weddings', #253). Being a jeans and t-shirt person myself, one of my fears about going to weddings was having to dress up in the mandatory suit, which my mother specifically insisted upon, on the hope that there would be a prospective bride milling about in the crowd somewhere. Fortunately for me, that expedition proved futile (sorry Mom!). I recently went to a wedding where the buffet was served with spoons, knives and forks. How sad the whole room felt. We knew what we missed-the multi-tasking utensil, without which the food just wasn't the same.
