The cadres gathered in Pokhara advised Girija Prasad Koirala to give up association with wrong people in the party. This request may be difficult for many to digest, some might also find it bitter. But the truth is that this is a problem not just of Congress but also of all parties. For their belief and ideology's sake many active members of the party will always side with the party flag. These are people who believe more in what they can do for the party, from where they are, rather than hope to get something from the party and its leadership. They are the ones that don't like to hang around the leadership sweet-talking their way up or those that relish in the language of chakari. Almost every political party in Nepal has members with similar ideals and commitment but they are barely noticed by the leadership.

.Now Congress is suffering the pains that many parties already have. In the past the UML, RPP, and NSP have gone through similar crises. The analysis of Congress cadres indicates that this has resulted because the party leadership became a means for wrong people and opportunities to do what they wanted is right on the spot. Their analysis is something that all leaders should think about, or take a lesson from. Leaders should be able to keep all in the party together and move forward, there's no doubt about that. In the never-ending political journey one has to move along with many right people and also the wrong elements. Despite everything this is also a time for leaders to see who, when they do not have the power or resources, are with them because of their belief of party and the leadership. Talking of the Congress, many of its leaders with ideals have not been able to rise in the rungs above street level, not is the time not to be miserly about providing them the opportunity..It is the cadres who make "leaders" and these are the people that hoist the party flag until the end. Those that worship power and influence, desert the moment the party and its leaders become powerless and join those with it. If fact there's also a saying, that says jaha kafal pakyo tehi chari nachyo (meaning: the birds dance where the berries are ripe).
