Congratulations on bringing out a paper that is informative, professional and above all, suited to the Nepali ethos. I am sure your weekly will provide a useful service. As our nation is going through trying times, there can be no alternative to dialogue and debate in order to keep the cogs in the wheel of democracy moving.

I\'ve been reading the internet version of your weekly newspaper ever since its inception. Your articles have caught my attention like nothing before, choked me with emotion, driven me to nostalgia, entertained me and, foremost, informed me.
I enjoy and admire your well-thought-out and well-written articles. So what I do is go through an article a day rationing out the articles over the week although the temptation to read them all at once is great.
My hope is to be able to buy a copy of your paper at the local newsstand, but I would be content subscribing to it. If only I knew how. Is there a button on the web page that is eluding me?

I would personally thank you for your new venture in print journalism. Nepal really lacked a truly international English paper. But what I am really happy about is that you decided to use selection from Desmond Doig\'s In the Kingdom of Gods.
Writer, traveller and photographer, Desmond was an ardent admirer of Kathmandu. In fact it was he who first really put Nepal on the international map much before the hippy era.
I am really grateful to Nepali Times for using his writings. Keep up the good work.
Anand Gurung Kathmandu It is encouraging to see that someone is still there with the courage and energy to bring up the "real story" of Nepali social life.

It was most pleasant to get a copy of Nepali Times. My wife and our school-going children began to read it, and couldn\'t stop. Nepali Times stands out from other papers. It is cognitively comfortable, the write-up flows smoothly, the selection of topics is relevant and stimulating. We are satisfied and enthusiastic readers.

With 1300 competitors, it is no small feat to have produced the best newspaper in Nepal. Congratulations!
I look forward to many happy hours of listening to Nepal talk to itself.
Updating Ralph Deakin. it will soon be said that nothing is news until it has appeared in Nepali Times.
