Nepali Congress General Secretary, Krishna Prasad Sitaula has claimed that the dispute between NC and CPN-UML over the portfolio of Home Ministry will be settled by this Friday.
Speaking with journalists in Biratnagar Wednesday, Situala said that the cabinet will be expanded after resolving the outstanding issues including the Home Ministry row with the UML.
“Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has already discussed the issue with UML’s leadership,” Situala said. “Nepali people have given the mandate to enact a new constitution to both the largest parties. It is not wise to engage in minor disputes.”
The NC and UML still remain undecided as to who will head the Home Ministry.
