Nepali Congress has decided to go on protest against the government decision to hold new elections in November. The party’s central committee meeting held at its office on Tuesday in Sanepa decided to agitate against the government decision, a central committee member told Nepali Times. NC leader Ram Chandra Poudel, who was also parliamentary party leader in the CA and led the party in all major negotiations of the statute drafting process presented a detailed report about CA dissolution at the meeting.
NC will also host meeting with other parties, except UCPN-M and the Madhesis, later today in an effort to garner their support for the protest programs.
