A meeting of the dispute resolution sub-committee under the Constitutional Committee (CC) has passed on the decision regarding the form of governance and other disputed issues to the top leaders of the major three parties.

The sub-committee came to the decision after it failed to come to consensus on the issues. Leaders of the three parties are expected to meet on Wednesday.

The NC has been advocating parliamentary system with the President as ceremonial head of state and the Prime Minister with executive rights. On the other hand, the UCPN (M) had proposed directly elected executive president.
