The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) and the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party have come up with charters of demands they want the Prime Minister to consider during his talks with his Indian counterpart.

RPP\'s 11 points
1. Review 1950 Treaty and draft another one that reflects changed times.
2. Remove Indian army from Kalapani.
3. Prepare DPR for Mahakali since it has already been four years since the Treaty was signed.
4. Control misuse of open border between the two countries.
5. Speed up work of committee formed to demarcate border.
6. India help solve the Bhutanese refugee crisis.
7. Talk to India about tendency to construct dams that affect Nepal adversely.
8. India help Nepal in tapping its water resources.
9. End India\'s levying extra taxes on products exported from Nepal against the spirit of the Nepal-India Commerce Treaty.
10. Raise the question of the safety of Nepalis living in India.
11. India take up its concern about ISI activities directly with the government and not resort to smear campaign through the media.

UML\'s 16 points
1. Review 1950 Treaty.
2. Demarcate border area once again.
3. Remove Indian Army from Kalapani.
4. Refuse to keep any kind of Indian security force in the country.
5. Scrap all unequal treaties which are a threat to national sovereignty.
6. Introduce ID cards in border areas.
7. Stop construction of the dam at Purnagiri.
8. Prepare detailed project report (DPR) for Mahakali.
9. Both countries help each other in the use of water resources.
10. Talk about Laxmanpur barrage and pull it down.
11. Stop construction of Laxmanpur embankment.
12. Get 36 acres of land according to the Tanakpur Treaty.
13. India help solve the Bhutanese refugee problem.
