Qatar Airways has extended its reach in the Asia Pacific region with the inaugural flight to Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh on Thursday. With the launch of daily scheduled services, Qatar Airways becomes the only Middle Eastern airline flying to the South East Asian nation and it is the 125th destination served worldwide.

Mind boggling offer

Nepal General Marketing’s the sole authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp has announced winners of its ‘Dimag Kharab’ scheme. Basti Yadav from Janakpur, Manoj Sherchan from Nepalganj, and Gajdhar Bhandari from Butwal will receive 100, 75, and 50 per cent cash refund, respectively, on their purchases.

Rapid rise

ŠKODA MAW has introduced the diesel version of Rapid in Nepal. According to its press release the new variants Active Plus, Ambition Plus, and Elegance will have diesel engines with 1.6 litre capacities, which is the highest in its particular price segment.

Sealing the deal

Etihad Airways paid $70 million to buy Jet Airways’ slots at London’s Heathrow airport. Etihad said the deal to buy slots was a part of a sale and lease-back agreement and Jet would continue to operate flights to London using those slots.
